VoteWarMap Terms of Service
These Terms govern the use of the VoteWarMap website and related services and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Service and its users.

Article 1. Purpose
The purpose of these Terms is to clarify the legal relationship between users and the Service by setting out the basic rules for using the Service.
Article 2. Definitions
- Member: a user who logs in, including through Google OAuth, and uses the Service
- Guest: a user who uses the Service through a guest session without logging in
- Content: text, vote selections, and other information posted, entered, or created by a user in the Service
Article 3. Effectiveness and Amendments
These Terms take effect when posted in the Service. The Service may amend them to the extent permitted by applicable law and will provide prior notice of the effective date and major changes.
Article 4. Provision and Modification of the Service
- The Service aims to operate 24 hours a day, year-round, in principle.
- The Service may change or suspend part or all of the Service for maintenance, incidents, network issues, or operational reasons.
- Features, screens, and policies may change as operational needs evolve.
Article 4-1. Support Payments and Entitlements
- The Service may offer one-time support payment functionality.
- Upon successful payment, a supporter badge entitlement may be granted according to the criteria announced in the Service.
- If there is no valid completed payment because of cancellation or refund, the supporter badge may be revoked.
- Support payments are available only to signed-in members who have completed signup.
Article 5. User Obligations
Users must not engage in the following conduct.
- Impersonating others or entering false information
- Harming service stability through macros, abuse, excessive requests, or similar conduct
- Posting abusive, hateful, defamatory, illegal, or harmful content
- Infringing the rights of the Service or third parties
Article 6. Operator Measures
If a user violates these Terms or applicable law, the Service may take necessary action such as warnings, hiding or deleting content, or restricting use, taking into account the severity and recurrence of the violation.
Article 7. Intellectual Property and Data Use
- Rights to the Service s own content, trademarks, and similar assets belong to the Service.
- Users remain primarily responsible for content they create.
- Users grant the Service a non-exclusive right to use such content for service operation, quality improvement, statistics, analytics, and marketing purposes.
Article 8. Disclaimer of Liability
- The Service is not liable for interruptions caused by natural disasters, force majeure, network failures, or similar events.
- The Service has no obligation to intervene in disputes between users or between a user and a third party.
- Guest-session data may be lost depending on the browser or device environment.
- However, the Service remains liable to the extent required by applicable law for damages caused by its intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and disputes between the Service and its users are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
